Since our 2018 ordering info went out a few weeks ago, “are you doing lamb this year?” is probably the question we’ve been asked the most! So the answer is yes, well, sort of…

We began raising lamb a few years back, to keep the grass trimmed down for the broiler chickens. However, our broiler chicken production has expanded to the point where the number of lamb that we raise each year can no longer keep up with the task. This makes it a little more difficult for us to manage the lamb.

Don’t worry, we have a solution! Steve’s friend and fellow farmer, Bill Fosher, of Edgefield Farm, will be raising lamb this year. So we will be offering lamb from his flock for you to order. Bill has over 20 years of shepherding experience, so you can rest assured that he will raise them with the same standards and care that we have.

We will be handling all of the ordering as usual, which you can find on our lamb page. The lamb should be ready in the late fall this year. Feel free to email me @stephanie@normanton.com with any questions or to place an order!
