Farmhand

We are looking to hire a motivated, independent person to work 20 – 40 hours per week for the afternoon shift, with some night shifts included. This position will run from March through mid-October. Duties include but are not limited to:

Assist with chicken production duties, including:

  • Feeding
  • Watering
  • Change bedding/shavings
  • Check welfare of birds
  • Moving of chicken houses
  • Assist with catch and transfer of birds

Assist with any other farm work, including but not limited to:

  • Campsite maintenance
  • Field work, like mowing
  • Take care of layer chickens
  • Assist with other tasks as directed

No experience necessary, but some farm experience or studies would be great.

Applicant must be

  • 18 years or older
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
  • A team player
  • Self motivated
  • The ability to lift 80 lbs
  • Be able to use google spreadsheets
  • Have a good work ethic
  • Be willing to learn

No housing available. Starting pay of $12/ hour gross. Bi-weekly

Onsite training will be available

Plenty of room to grow!
